Privacy policy

Omnilude processes only the information needed to protect accounts, maintain the reading experience, and improve the service, and manages it safely.

Information collected

Member emailWhen account features are used, an email address may be collected to identify the member and provide sign-in, security notices, and service notices.
Guest browser dataWhile using the service without signing in, recently read works, reading progress, language, and display settings may be stored in the user's browser storage.
Cookies and technical informationCookies, IP address, browser and device information, and error logs may be processed for language settings, session continuity, security checks, and error analysis.
Analytics and advertising tool informationTools such as Google Analytics may process cookies, visited pages, usage events, device information, and browser information to improve service quality, analyze visits, identify popular content, operate recommendations, and measure ad exposure and performance.
Support informationWhen a user sends an inquiry, the email address, inquiry details, and handling records needed for the response may be processed.

Purpose of use

Provide account featuresThe email address is used for member identification, sign-in handling, account notices, security notices, and user-rights support.
Maintain the reading experienceBrowser storage and cookies are used to keep continue-reading state, recent reading history, language settings, and display settings.
Analytics, recommendations, and adsVisit flows, content usage, ad exposure, and ad performance are aggregated to improve service quality and operate recommendation and advertising areas.
Security and abuse preventionTechnical information is used to detect and respond to abnormal access, automation, service abuse, errors, and outages.
Support and noticesNecessary information is used to answer inquiries, diagnose issues, and send service-change and required notices.

Retention period

Member email is retained while needed to maintain the account and provide the service. If the member leaves or requests deletion, it is deleted unless legal retention is required.

Information stored in browser storage and cookies can be deleted by the user in browser settings, and may disappear when the device changes, browser changes, storage is reset, or cookies are deleted.

Information processed through analytics and advertising tools follows each tool's retention policy and the period needed for service operation. Security logs, error logs, and inquiry handling records are retained for the necessary period, then deleted or processed in a non-identifying form.

Cookies and browser storage

Browser storage technologies such as cookies, localStorage, and IndexedDB may be used to continue the reading flow and keep basic settings even without sign-in.

Analytics and advertising tools such as Google Analytics may use cookies or similar technologies to measure visit statistics, usage events, and the performance of ads and recommended content.

This information is managed per device and browser and may not automatically sync to other devices. Blocking cookies or site storage may limit some features or prevent reading history, recommendations, or ad settings from being kept.

Third-party provision and processing delegation

Personal information is processed within the stated purposes and is not provided to third parties except with user consent, legal grounds, or processing delegation needed to provide the service.

Tasks needed to provide and operate the service, such as email delivery, security-log management, infrastructure operation, visit statistics, and ad delivery, may be delegated to external services, and the actual recipients and scope are described in service notices.

When features are provided by third-party tools such as Google Analytics, advertising networks, hosting, or security tools, the provider's privacy policy and retention policy may also apply.

User rights

Access and correctionWhen using account features, users can view or correct their email address and account-related information.
Deletion requestRequests to access, correct, delete, suspend processing, or withdraw consent can be sent to the privacy officer email omnilude@gmail.com. Information legally required to be retained may be excluded.
Manage browser-stored dataReading history and settings stored while using the service as a guest can be deleted directly through the browser's cookies and site data controls.
Analytics and advertising settingsUsers can limit information processing for analytics and advertising through browser settings, cookie blocking, ad personalization settings, or options provided by analytics tools.

Users can send requests about access, correction, deletion, suspension of processing, consent withdrawal, advertising settings, AI-result objections, child-data deletion, or privacy incident reports to this contact.

Protection measures

Personal information is collected minimally and protected through access control, encryption where needed, access-log management, and internal security procedures.

Users should use an email address they can actually access and manage browser storage and cookies carefully on shared devices.

For account features, the basic member identifier is the email address. Reading records created without sign-in may disappear or fail to sync when browser storage or cookies are deleted, or when the device or browser changes.
